Brithany Marbun, ASW

Brithany pursued a career in clinical social work to promote and help create intersectional mental health treatment for BIPOC and individuals who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community.

They believe healing happens in spaces where clients are not only accepted for who they are, but are also welcomed, encouraged, and honored in all their identities. Even more important a space where these individuals feel protected and fought for. Brithany is able to create a safe, empathetic space for their clients, spaces of growth, challenge and healing. It is for these reasons Brithany’s therapy model is based on compassion, cultural competence, and social justice. The main modalities and theories they incorporate into treatment include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment Styles/Theory, Gestalt Theory, Psychodynamic Theory, and Mindfulness, among others.

Brithany works with individuals who experience mood disorders, such as depression and anxiety. They also works with individuals who have experienced trauma, including complex trauma. Brithany has a passion for working with and serving the LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

When you work with Brithany you can expect a warm greeting and a genuine curiosity of who you are!
