Mental Health: Psychological Assistant

Regardless of what you’re facing or where you’re coming from at this point in life, you aren’t meant to walk through it alone. Therapy is a place you are invited to come as you are to start unpacking all that life has thrown at you. As a therapist, I approach each client’s issues with genuine curiosity, warmth, and a nonjudgmental attitude in hopes of cultivating a safe and confidential space where you feel free say whatever is on your mind. I tend to have a laid back style and pay close attention to how your past and present relationships influence the way you think, feel, and express yourself, as well as how your mind and body handle stressful situations. I view therapy as a means to develop a warm, trusting relationship that helps you uncover and heal from sources of pain and suffering in your life. We will work collaboratively to help you discover new insights about yourself and where you come from, with the goal of increasing your sense of autonomy, connectedness, and fulfillment in life.

If you find yourself in need of more support right now, know that I am here to help. I have particular interests in providing depth therapy to individuals experiencing grief and loss, navigating transitions, struggling with identity formation, working through masculinity/femininity issues, and exploring spirituality. I am a seventh year Ph.D candidate in clinical psychology and have nearly completed all requirements for my doctorate. I am a CA board registered Psychological Assistant (PSB94025049) and am currently working under Dr. Dustin Arnold’s license (CA 30264).
